How we do it.
A loft conversion is the fastest way to add a bedroom and a bathroom without losing an inch of garden. Ours are full remit and engineered properly: steel-framed dormers, lead cladding, and glass balustrades where the view deserves it.
We have built a 6 metre steel-framed lead-clad dormer with glass sliding doors, dropped a whole floor of ceilings to win head height, and fitted lofts out with wardrobes in the eaves, oak and Amtico floors, and finished bathrooms. The scaffolding comes down, the decorating is done, and you have a new floor of your house.
