Cookie policy.
The short version: this website sets no cookies at all. The longer version is below, with the date it was last checked. Last updated 2 September 2026.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Websites use them to remember you between pages or between visits, for example to keep you logged in, remember a setting, or measure how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, work in comparable ways and this policy covers them too.
Do we use them?
No. This website does not set any cookies, not even the strictly necessary kind, because it has nothing to remember about you. There are no user accounts, no enquiry form, no shopping basket, no analytics and no advertising. Because we set no cookies, there is nothing to consent to and no cookie banner.
If we ever add something that needs a cookie, such as a contact form with spam protection or a visitor counter, this page will be updated first and, where the law requires it, we will ask before setting anything.
Third party services
Many websites load fonts, videos, maps or scripts from other companies, and those companies can set cookies of their own. We have avoided that.
- Fonts are stored on and served from our own hosting, not from a font service.
- Photographs and videos are stored on and served from our own hosting, not from a video platform.
- There is no embedded map, no social media feed and no chat widget.
- There is no Google Analytics or any other visitor measurement tool.
Links to other websites, such as the Information Commissioner's Office, take you to sites with their own cookie policies which we do not control.
Server logs
Like every website, ours runs on a server that keeps a standard access log: the IP address of each visit, the page requested, the time, and the browser type. Our hosting company keeps these for security and fault finding and deletes them automatically after a short period. They are not used to identify or profile visitors. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information more generally.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Every modern browser lets you see, block and delete cookies, either for all websites or for particular ones. The setting is usually under Privacy or Site settings.
Blocking cookies will not affect this website in any way, because it does not use them.
Changes to this policy
We check this page whenever the website changes and will publish any change here, with the date at the top updated. This version is dated 2 September 2026.
